Parking is getting a little tight at Monroeville. I know there is a Farmers Market and pickle ball games going on but please try to stick to the designated parking areas. NO Parking is permitted in the grass along the ball fields. Thank you for your cooperation and good luck today!
Good Morning All!
Thanks to turf fields, we are able to start our day off today as scheduled.
They are calling for rain showers throughout the day so let’s prepare as we did yesterday. Let’s do as many No Rain Dances as you can to try to push off the rain as much as we can. We will send updates throughout the day as things progress. They will also be posted on our facebook and the Tourney / Weather updates tab on our schedules page.
As we hope for the best and prepare for the worst, lets have a fun filled day!
Friday, July 16th
We made it through most of the day with sunshine but did get hit with rain in the evening. Unfortunately we did have to push some games. The schedule has been updated.
We are expecting some rain throughout the night and scattered tomorrow. We will keep our eye on the radar and send out our first update around 6 am. Let’s rest up tonight and start off with sunshine (fingers crossed) tomorrow!
Everyone’s wishes to the softball gods this morning is paying off. The rain forecast has pushed back to this early evening. Hopefully the trend will continue and we can complete today with sunshine! It is hot and humid out, make sure to stay hydrated and find shade when you can.
The 12:30 games have started and all fields are running on time. Please be ready to start your game about 30 minutes prior to your scheduled game time. If we can get ahead to better our chances of beating the rain, we will. There is still a chance rain may pop up throughout the day.
Let’s Stay cool and have fun!
